<p>PURPOSE:To provide a water ink which has excellent long-term shelf stability, does not cause the clogging of nozzles and gives a printed image having good color tone, consisting of a specified dye, a surfactant, glycerol, diethylene glycol and water. CONSTITUTION:An n-sulfonic acid-phthalocyanine dye (A) of formula I (wherein n is 2-3), at least one surfactant (B) selected from among 0.01-2wt% polyethylenealkylamine of formula II (wherein R is a 16-19C linear hydrocarbon group; n, m are each 0-18, m+n=8-18), 0.01-1wt% polyoxyethylene alkylphenyl ether of formula III (wherein R is a 7-12C linear hydrocarbon group; n is 12- 20) and 0.01-1wt% polyoxyethylene alkyl ether of formula IV (wherein R1, R2 are each a 6-8C linear hydrocarbon groups; n is 10-15), a solvent mixture (C) of glycerol and diethylene glycol (1/1-1/5 by weight) and a pH adjustor (D) such as NaOH are dissolved in water to obtain a water ink having a pH of 9-11 and a surface tension of 35dyne/cm or above.</p> |
