An external fixation device is composed of a pair of arcuate frame segments (12), multiple adjustment rods (16) and pin holders (14), which co-operate with one another. Pins (18, 20) secured to the holders (14) extend through the soft tissue (not shown) and bone (13) of a patient to rigidly immobilize a bone fracture (15) and permit compression, neutralization or distraction of the fracture from a location external to the body.
