FIELD SEQUENTIAL COLOR RECEIVER

PURPOSE:To attain highly minute display without requiring convergence correction by displaying a picture element on a picture tube in field sequence and in synchronizing with a index provided on a color selection electrode of a multi- beam color picture tube. CONSTITUTION:An index fine strip 16A provided to a metallic fine strip 14G of the extreme right end of an aperture grill 14 is irradiated by an R electron beam in the R field to irradiate the 1st green index. The 1st R picture element signal is read from a frame memory 3A by the 1st read clock pulse corresponding to the 1st index emission. The 1st R picture element signal is fed to an R cathode 15 KR of the picture tube 10 via a switch 8A. The R electronic beam irradiated from the R cathode irradiates a fluorescent fine strip 13R at the extreme right end through a slit 14A of the extreme right end succeeding to the metallic fine strip 14G of the extreme right end to display the 1st R picture element. The N-th color picture signal is displayed concentratingly on the N-th fluorescent triplet 13 in this way and the convergence is complete thereby requiring no convergence correction.
