PURPOSE:To prevent deviation of air/fuel ratio after releasing fuel interception and contrive a good idling operation by a method wherein a solenoid valve, interposed in a vacuum circuit, is opened for a predetermined period of time simultaneously with the releasing of the fuel interception during the idling operation after releasing the interception of fuel. CONSTITUTION:When the operation of the engine is shifted into the idle operation, the suction vacuum at the downstream of the throttle valve 15 becomes small, therefore, a vacuum control valve 16 is closed and a fuel intercepting valve 11 is opened to open a fuel path 10 since the vacuum in a control vacuum path 23 returns to an atmospheric pressure. At this time, the vacuum switch 46 is switched from ON to OFF, therefore, a control circuit 45 decides by the fuel intercept releasing decision circuit 47 thereof that the interception of the fuel is released and opens the solenoid valve 44 for a predetermined period of time. As a result, the vacuum path 40 is opened, the secondary chamber 7 of a vaporizer 3 is communicated with the suction path 14 at the downstream of the throttle valve 15 and the pressure of the secondary chamber becomes vacuum, therefore, the secondary diaphragm 9 returns to the normal condition thereof immediately. According to this method, the desired object may be achieved. |
