PURPOSE:To enable to make supplementary fuel unnecessary and to enlarge a furnace load, by providing a premixing chamber premixing combustion air and low calorie gas with each other and a combustion chamber burning the mixed gas in a burner casing. CONSTITUTION:A low calorie gas inlet nozzle 13 is equipped similary with a combustion air inlet nozzle 11 so that low calorie gas (g) is introduced in a tangential direction of a burner casing 4. A premixing chamber 16 mixing combustion air (a) led out from a current shaping plate 15 and the low calorie gas (g) spouted from a gas spouting hole 14 with each other is constituted with partition plates 6a, 12a, 12b and a flame holding plate 17. The combustion air (a) supplied from the combustion air inlet nozzle 11 is introduced in the tangential direction to the burner casing 4, turned into a revolving flow within a wind box 6, and led to the premixing chamber through the current shaping plate 15. The combustion air (a) and the low calorie gas (g) introduced into the premixing chamber 16 in this manner are mixed uniformly in the premixing chamber 16 and then mixed gas (m) of both the gas is generated.
