PURPOSE:To permit the efficient program check operation and execute program check in a short time by executing working cycle excluding the timer elements in the program, in an NC machine tool. CONSTITUTION:When a processing program for a cylinder grinding machine is executed, the first instruction is read-out and interpreted, and it is judged in 51 that the instruction is a timer-instruction or not. Since the first instruction is not a timer-instruction, the instruction is immediately executed, and a grind- stone is fed speedily from a start position. After the instruction is executed, the completion of work is judged, and then the next instruction is executed, and rough grinding is executed. Since the next instruction is a timer instruction, it is judged in 52 that the machine state at present is in program check or not, as a result of discrimination in 51. Therefore, if the state is in the actual grinding work, the instruction is executed, and the feed of the grindstone is suspended, and the grindstone is revolved only. If the state is in idle revolution, the instruction is not executed, and the grindstone continues revolution , and the next instruction is executed, and fine grinding is carried-out. |
