摘要 PURPOSE:To attain high precision by making comparison between an angle of rotation of a main shaft and the movement quantity of a cutting tool and also their numerically expressed information and further controlling both a main shaft driving servo motor fitted with a workpiece and a servo motor for moving a cutting tool at reed processing by means of NC lathe. CONSTITUTION:Relation, between an angle of rotation of a main shaft 141 corresponding to the shape of processing for a workpiece to be turned and the movement quantity of a cutting tool 18, is numerically expressed and stored in NC device. Reed processing is performed by controlling, on the basis of said numerically expressed information, a servo motor 26 from driving the main shaft 141 and a servo motor for driving a slide 16, while a momentarily changing actual angle of rotation of the main shaft 141 is continually measured and the momentarily changing actual movement quantity of the cutting tool 18 is also measured continually. These measured values are compared with stored information of NC device and both servo motors are controlled on the basis of information thus obtained, and the movement speed of the cutting tool 18 is controlled so as to be constant. Thus, high precision of the captioned processing can be attained.
