<p>PURPOSE:To obtain clear display of narrow chrominance signal information without attenuation by transferring special picture signals such as characters and patterns to a prescribed part of video signals of a high-difinition television standard as digital information. CONSTITUTION:After R, G and B outputs from a character and pattern generator 1 are accumulated in a frame memory 2 which stores one picture portion once, the outputs are converted to the form which matches the standard of a high-definition luminance signal in a signal converter 3, and are added to the first luminance signal input terminal of a changeover switch 4. On the other hand, R, G and B analogue signals from a color television camera 5 are converted to Y, CW and CN signals by an encoder 6, and are added to the second input terminal of the changeover switch 4. These signals are added to a transmitter 7 which supplies the high-definition signal to a transmission line through the changeover switch 4, and are transferred to a receiver through a transmission line 8 of an optical cable, etc.</p> |
