PURPOSE:To obtain a simple but accurate choke return device, by providing, in the end part of a choke knob, a gear which is locked by a stopper actuated by a timer which therefore controls the return of a choke. CONSTITUTION:A disc 7 having a projection is provided to a gear 9 meshed with a rack which is provided to the shaft end of a choke knob 16 connected with a cable 15 that is coupled to the choke lever of a carburetter. Upon cold starting of the engine, when a choke knob 16 is pulled, the knob tends to be returned by a releasing force of the choke, but is locked since a stopper 2 is provided opposing a disc 7. When a coil 3 which is controlled by electronic parts 10, 11 is energized and deenergized, the stopper 2 locks and releases with respect to a disc 7 so that the control of returning of the choke knob may be made at a predetermined speed. |
