This device has a reflector (2) of essentially parabolic cross-section, which extends parallel to the light source (1) and guarantees transverse screening in accordance with a prescribed screening angle ( alpha ). Furthermore, transverse vanes (6) are provided which are formed by V-shaped sectional pieces and guarantee longitudinal screening which corresponds to the transverse screening.
<??>The upper end (9a) of each wing (7) of each transverse vane (6) coincides with the upper boundary of the visible zone of the reflector (2) which is bounded by the complementary angle of the screening angle ( alpha ). The upper section (9) of each wing (7) is formed by a flat surface. The zones of the reflector (2) on which parasitic lighting effects can occur, are thereby covered up and removed from sight.
