Moulding press

A moulding press with a pressure ram and a pressing mould to produce briquettes of paper is to be improved by giving the moulding press a simple and cost-effective structure which guarantees that it can be manipulated in a simple, clean and time-saving manner without additional means for glueing. To this end, it is proposed, that a vertical stand which is connected to a baseplate be equipped with a horizontal plate at its upper end, that a tube which is open on both sides be releasably mounted underneath this plate by means of a holding device mounted on the stand, the upper mouth of the tube engaging directly with the plate from below, and that a lifting jack sits on the baseplate, the pressing ram of which lifting jack has a pressure plate which engages with the lower mouth of the tube and is adapted to the inside width of the latter.
