The conveyor chain for woodworking machines, in particular multi-blade circular saws, consists of a multiplicity of chain links (1) which are connected to one another in an articulated manner via pins and have sliding surfaces on their underside for the guidance of the chain links (1) in a vertical and lateral direction and also a bearing surface (4) on their upper side for the cut timber to be worked. In order to prevent the cut timber from slipping through relative to the chain links (1) during the machining operation even under unfavourable conditions, the bearing surface (4) of at least some of the chain links (1) of the chain carries a number of pins (8) which project beyond the bearing surface (4) with their tips (11), which are arranged in the area of an end face. <IMAGE> |
