The reinforcement fixture (20) is attached by bolts extending through the thickness of the door panel (1). It comprises a primary flat plate part resting on the door panel main surface (11) and a secondary such part (22) integral with the primary and at right-angles to it. The secondary platepart, in the closed position of the door, is located parallel and tightly adjacent to the lock closure plate (50). The closure plate outwardly facing long edge is located in the same plane as the door inner main surface (11), in the closed position of the door. The secondary plate (22) has an aperture through which the lock housing (40) bolt (41) can pass with reduced clearance. |
