Neodymium-YAG laser with passive mode locking

摘要

A description is given of a neodymium-YAG laser with passive mode locking, in which a control device automatically refills the dye. Refilling is always undertaken when the stationary transmission of the dye and/or the laser energy have fallen below specific critical values. In a preferred exemplary embodiment, an infrared diode is used to measure the stationary transmission of the dye.
