PURPOSE:To produce a small-size, light-weight fuel cell by using hydrogen generated by the reaction of hydride on water as fuel and by using hydrogen peroxide as oxidizer. CONSTITUTION:The water in a reaction-generated water storage 9 is sent to a hydride reactor 4 via a water supply line 14 by a water supply pump 13, and reacts on hydride to generate hydrogen gas of high purity. This hydrogen gas is supplied to the anode side of a fuel cell main body 1 via a hydrogen lead-in line 2 by an H2 circulating pump 3. To the cathode side of the fuel cell main body 1, the low concentration hydrogen peroxide water in a low concentration H2O2 water circulating tank 17 is sent by an H2O2 water circulating pump 18. The hydrogen peroxide water, which has been consumed by the cell reaction, is supplied from a high concentration H2O2 water storage 11 by a high concentration H2O2 water supply pump 20. In order to make the equipment volume compact, for example, a single module construction is adopted, and a storage tank 8 is partitioned by a isolating movable plate 10. |
