PURPOSE:To provide an oxidizing hair dye composition containing cysteine or cystine and amino acid, hydrolyzed keratin or hydrolyzed collagen, giving little damage to the hair in dyeing, and providing dyed hair having excellent touch and gloss. CONSTITUTION:The objective hair dye composition contains (A) cysteine or cystine and (B) amino acids, hydrolyzed keratin or hydrolyzed collagen. The cysteine or cystine suppresses the damage of hair caused by the scission of the cystine bond in hair with the H2O2 in the second liquid of the oxidizing dye. On the other hand, the damage of the hair caused by the loss of keratin, polypeptide and amino acid by the acission of peptide bond with alkali can be prevented by replenishing the hair with the similar substances such as amino acid, hydrolyzed keratin and hydrolyzed collagen in the dyeing stage, and consequently, a glossy and moistened hair can be obtained. |
