Carbo-beta-fluoroethoxy cpds. have formula:- R-NHCOOCH2CH2F (where R is opt. substd. phenyl residue), pref. substituents being one or more halogen, OH, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, lower halogenalkyl, NO2, NCS and/or FCH2CH2OOC.NH-groups). Esp. active against aphids, blow flies etc.
