PURPOSE: A vehicle disk brake is provided to readily cancel a parking brake function by directly supplying electricity to an electric motor to which electricity is not supplied. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle disk brake comprises a carrier(10), a caliper housing(20) and a parking apparatus(30). The carrier is fixed to vehicle body. A pair of friction pads(11) are installed at the inside of the carrier in the manner of being able to move back and forth. The caliper housing is movably connected to the carrier. A piston(21) is installed at one side of the caliper housing in the manner of being able to move back and forth. The parking apparatus comprises an actuating shaft(31), a pressure sleeve(32), an electric motor(33) and a reduction gear assembly(34). The actuating shaft is rotatably installed in the cylinder portion(20a) of the caliper housing. While moving back and forth according to the rotation of the actuating shaft, the pressure sleeve pressurizes or depressurizes the piston. The electric motor rotates the actuating shaft. The reduction gear assembly transfers the power generated from the electric motor to the actuating shaft.
