Motor control device

A motor control device includes a motor M, keypad 21 for entering a desired number of revolutions of the motor (infers motor speed); a detector 32 producing signal FG indicating the number of revolutions of the motor; and a microcomputer. The microcomputer comprises a counter which is set according to the input from the keypad 21. The counter provides a reference frequency signal FS. The microcomputer also produces a phase error signal PC from signals FS and FG for driving the motor M. The signal PC may be combined with a speed signal FV derived from FS. The combined signal passes via adder 28, integrator 35, 37 and PWM 29 to motor driven 30.
