PURPOSE:To raise a track density without dropping an S/N ratio, and to secure a necessary error rate, too, by reversing an azimuth angle alternately with regard to each track so that a signal of an adjacent track is not picked up. CONSTITUTION:A gap part 2 of a head core is recorded at an angle 5 (azimuth angle) in a connecting direction 4 of a track 3, and its angle is reversed in tracks of both sides so that a track recorded at the same azimuth angle is placed alternately. According to such a constitution, even if a head 6 contacts to an adjacent track port due to its off-track, since the gap part 2 of the head core and a magnetized pattern 7 recorded in the track port have an azimuth angle of two times, influence of the adjacent track is scarcely exerted by making the track have some degree of an azimuth angle. |
