On a tractor vehicle (10) a hydraulic pump (12) is arranged, which is driven by the drive engine (11) of the tractor vehicle. On a unit (20) independent of the tractor vehicle a hydraulic motor (22) is arranged which is supplied with pressure medium by the hydraulic pump (12) via hydraulic connections (18, 23). The unit may be a circular saw (20), a chopper, a generator or any other appliance which can be driven by a hydraulic motor (22).
