PURPOSE:To obtain an economical device which has no wait time by providing each trunk line interface with a table for generating a signal for transmission and assigning one basic frequency to one time slot on a time-division multiplex highway. CONSTITUTION:The time-division multiplex highway 1-9 has 128 time slots, which are given numbers TS0-TS127 in order. Transmit signals to trunk lines 1-5-1-7 are denoted as A-P and two out of basic frequencies n1-n4 and m1-m4 are combined. For example, n1 is sent out, by an oscillator 1-1 to TS0, n2 to TS1, n3 to TS2, n4 to TS3, and m1 to TS5, m2 to TS6, and m3 to TS7. In this case, a trunk line interface device 1-2 receives an indication of transmis sion to the trunk line 1-5 from a controller 1-8 and then 1-2 refers to the conver sion table to recognize that the signals n1 and m2 are combined. Then, the 1-2 leads in the TS0 and TS6 and sends out the two frequencies to the trunk line 1-5. |
