Curing compsn. comprises an aq. or aliphatic alcohol soln. of opt. methylated dimethylol dihydroxyethylene urea (DMDHEU), aluminium sulphate (I) and sodium metaborate (II). DMDHEU and (I), DMDHEU and (II), or (I) and (II) may be premixed. The compsn. provides a faster cure without shade change or yellowing at lower temps. and provides great energy savings. White or coloured, woven or non-woven cellulosic fabrics e.g. cotton, rayon and linen opt. blended with e.g. polyester may be treated.
