PURPOSE:To obtain fancy twisted yarns having sufficient entanglement and rich bulkiness, by winding flowers (decorations) forcibly around a core yarn led through a hollow spindle with an integrated floral (floating) yarn winding part provided integrally with the bottom of the hollow spindle. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus for producing fancy twisted yarns having a hole 2, extending downward from the bottom along the central axis, opened to the outer peripher, and provided in a hollow spindle 1 for leading a core yarn 11 downward and a floral yarn winding part 3 preferably in the gradually downward tapered or conical, rodlike or plate form at the bottom thereof. A floral (floating) yarn 15 delivered from a yarn package 17 by rolls 16 and 16' is wound around the floral yarn winding part 3 while taking off the core yarn 11 led along the hole 2 of the hollow spindle 1 downward along the floral yarn winding part 3 and then around the periphery of the core yarn 11. The floral yarn 15 and the core yarn 11 together are wound around the floral yarn 15 with a pressing yarn 10 delivered from a bobbin 7 to give the aimed fancy twisted yarn. |
