PURPOSE:To improve the convenience of a call waiting display function by executing call waiting display processing when an automatic exchange detects the coincidence of both identification information. CONSTITUTION:If a call from other subscriber C is incoming while a subscriber A is talking with a subscriber B, a central controller CC references a subscriber data SD(A) in an external storage device FM and confirms that identification information (d) of a subscriber D having priority and qualified information are stored, then the CC transmits identification information (c) of the incoming subscriber C to an identification device P. The identification device P collates the identification (c), (d), and when they are dissident, the busy connection is conducted as it is. When coincident, a call waiting display device CW is started to attain the call waiting display processing. |
