<p>PURPOSE:To make easy inserting operation of a plate group into a container by spraying heated steam to glass mat before a plate group is inserted into a container. CONSTITUTION:A plate group prepared by mutually stacking anode plate and cathode plate with separator and glass mat sandwiched between them is sprayed with heated steam from its both sides by passing through steam spray equipment. The plate group is inserted into each cell compartment of monoblock container to form a lead-acid battery for electric car. The plate group is easily inserted into the container, and productivity is increased.</p> |
