PURPOSE:To obtain an alloy layer by facilitating mutual penetration of a metal and an alloy component, by such a novel method that a mixture consisting of a substance containing components forming a metal and an alloy and a predetermined org. high-molecular compound is applied to the surface of a metal and heated. CONSTITUTION:A solution or a colloidal dispersion of an org. high-molecular compound disappearing by thermal decomposition (acrylic acid, acrylic ester or methacrylic acid) is prepared. One or more of a component forming a metal and an alloy or a compound separating the above mentioned components by heating is contained in the prepared solution or dispersion to prepare a mixture which is, in turn, applied to the surface of a metal and, thereafter, a solvent or a dispersing medium is evaporated to form a film to the surface of the metal. In the next step, the formed film is heated and an alloy layer is formed to the surface of the aforementioned metal in reductive gas generated during heating. By this method, mutual penetration of both metal components is easily performed and the alloy layer is obtained by a novel method. |
