PURPOSE:To prevent a releasing solution from being supplied too much and maintain the fixing function of a toner powder image invariably excellently by applying and supplying the releasing solution to a free rotating roller intermittently. CONSTITUTION:When the releasing solution is supplied, a transmission member 53 contacts the free rotating roller 51 to supply the releasing solution from a tank 52 to the roller 1. While the solution is supplied sufficiently to the roller 1, the friction between the rollers 1 and 51 is small and the roller 51 is hard to drive to suppress the excessive supply to the roller 1. A crank 56 is rotated to turn the releasing solution storage tank 52 around a shaft 522, and then the member 53 is separated from the roller 51, so that the supply of the solution is stopped completely. For the purpose, the contacting and separation of a releasing solution transmission path are performed once in every copy cycle to supply a necessary irreducible amount of the solution 6 to the roller 1 according to the consumption state of the solution 6 on the roller surface. |
