PURPOSE:To make two works machinable at the same time, by forming a work carriage groove on the bed, while setting up a tool holder in place astride the work carriage groove. CONSTITUTION:A work carriage groove 2a for passing a pipe material P or a work is formed in a longitudinal direction of the surface of a bed 2, while a working head 3 is tightly installed in an almost central part of the bed 2 astride the work carriage groove 2a. At the working head 3, each of cutting tool holders 4 and 4' is rotatably and free of axial movement supported on both surfaces along the carriage direction of the workcarriage groove 2a, allowing these holders to go in and out the axial direction, besides rotation and drive. Therefore, since two pipe works are machinable at the same time, operation efficiency is improved and, what is more, miniaturization is well promoted as the working head is one. |
