PURPOSE:To easily control flow by screwing a control screw into the inner end portion of a spindle, thereby to slide a flow limit member slidably disposed at the inner end portion of the spindle so that the flow limit member is inserted in a ball valve in such a manner as to be freely taken out and put in. CONSTITUTION:Upstream and downstream tube couplings 3, 4 are formed on a base metal A comprising a main body 1 and a ball presser 2, and a ball valve 7 having both ends seated on a pair of ball seats 5, 6 is accommodated in the base metal A. In this case, in order to control the flow of a water passing hole 8 of the ball valve 7, after a handle 11 and a setscrew 10 are detached from a spindle 9, a screw driver is inserted in a tapped hole 15 of the spindle 9 to turn a control screw 14. Thus, a flow limit member 17 is moved up and down along a pair of finger members 16 formed on the forward end of the inner end portion 9c of the spindle 9, so that the section of a passageway can be limited depending upon the interfering depth of a tongue-like limit plate 17a to the water passing hole 8. |
