PURPOSE:To preclude the possibility of electric leakage or electric shock or the like by multiplexing plural command signals of a train and transmitting the multiplexed result via an optical transmission line to decrease the number of interconnecting wires transmitting signals between car bodies. CONSTITUTION:An optical transmitter 6 is provided between a commanding device 3 of a head car body 1 and a device 4 to be commanded of an intermediate car body 2. The transmitter 6 consists of a transmitter 7 converting an electric command signal from the device 3 into a multiplexed optical signal and outputting the result, an optical transmission line 8 transmitting the multiplexed optical signal from the transmitter 7, and a receiver 9 converting again the multiplexed optical signal from the optical transmission line 8 into an electric command signal and outputting it to the device 4 to be commanded. Thus, the number of interconnecting wires for signal transmission between car bodies is decreased, no insulation is required, and the signal transmission with precluding the possibility of electric leakage or electric shock or the like and high reliability while forming an error of signal transmission is brought into fail safe is attained. |
