PURPOSE:A bundle of staple fibers are false-twisted between two belts, then a part of the fiber bundle is untwisted at the twisting part provided with a friction material to achieve high-speed production of a yarn with high binding force, because of its many entangling filaments. CONSTITUTION:A friction material 5 is arranged so that the fiber bundle S from the front rollers 4 passes, contacting with the bottom end of the sliding guide 22. The fiber bundle S from the sliding guide 22 is bended by a prescribed angle a and guided in between the false-twisting belts B1, B2 at an angle b and sent out at an angle c. The distance between the sliding guide 22 and the point for introducing the fiber bundle into the twister is made shorter than the average fiber length at the fiber S. |
