PURPOSE:To quicken the leading of an oscillator output signal and also to decrease the power consumption by changing over the driving capability of an amplifier depending on the start of oscillation and the continuity of oscillation in an oscillation circuit using the amplifier and an oscillator element or the like. CONSTITUTION:The driving capability of an amplifier 6 is designed larger than the driving capability of an amplifier 7, a switch 8 is changed over to the position of the amplifier 6 by the operation of a control circuit 9 at the start of oscillation and the switch 8 is changed over to the position of the amplifier 7 at the continuity of oscillation. Thus, the oscillator output signal is risen quickly by the larger driving capability of the amplifier 6 at the start of oscillation thereby allowing the oscillation output signal to be risen quickly, and the oscillation is continued by the amplifier 7 having the smaller driving capability, then the power consumption of the oscillation circuit is decreased. |
