In this device of the type described in the main patent, the collecting assembly 25 comprises a shaft 34 comprising rows of teeth 35 and extending parallel to the shaft of the guiding frame 26, the teeth being spaced from this shaft towards the front relative to the direction of movement of the device. The transfer channel of the guiding frame 26 consists of a trough 29 in which the transfer means consist of a helical screw 31 and the front edge of the trough is extended downwards and forwards by a curved ploughshare 32 whose edge has teeth 37 forming a comb between which the teeth 35 of the collecting assembly turn.
