PURPOSE:To improve the waterproofness and to prevent the damage of a resin molding member by covering the side of a stator core, the periphery of a coil end and the outer periphery of the stator core with the resin molding member and a covering material. CONSTITUTION:Before or after a can 3 is inserted into the inner periphery of a stator core 2, the outer periphery and the side of the core 2 and the periphery of the coil end 5 of the stator coil are integrally molded with a resin molding member 4. Then, a sheath 6, i.e., thermally shrinkable tube is engaged with the outer periphery of the member 4. The sheath 6 is reliably covered on the member 4, the sheath 6 protects the member 4 against the external force at the conveying time, and prevents outer water from reaching the member 4 at the actual use time. |
