PURPOSE:To inform the flame failure of a burner without requiring an external power supply by converting the heat of the burner into power by a thermoelectric generating element and driving an information circuit section by the convertion of the heat of the burner into power. CONSTITUTION:When a cock is opened, a switch 16 is made, and a capacity element 11 can be charged. When a burner is ignited, a thermoelectric generating element 6 is heated by the heat of the burner, and electromotive force e1 is generated. The electromotive force is converted into AC by an oscillation circuit 8, boosted by a transformer 9, rectified by a diode 10 and charged gradually to the capacity element 11. Both end voltage e2 of the capacity element 11 rises, and a detection circuit 12 and an information circuit section 13 are brought to an operable state. The information circuit section 13 is not operated because the detection circuit 12 emits an output stopping the oscillation of a buzzer oscillation circuit 14 when there is the AC voltage of the transformer 9, when there is the electromotive force of the thermoelectric generating element 6. When the burner flame-fails for some reason, the electromotive force of the thermoelectric generating element 6 disappears, and an output from the transformer 9 also disappears. Since electricity is accumulated in the capacity element 11 at that time, the detection circuit detects the disappearance of the output from the transformer 9, and the buzzer oscillation circuit is driven to start the ringing of a buzzer 15. |
