PURPOSE:To enable to insert an insulator formed by bending in U shape in the lengthwise direction into a slot without displacing in an axial direction in contact of a core with a cough by bending another insulating sheet to form the cough at both sides of an insulating sheet, cutting a slot in the developed width so that the porion between the coughs becomes the prescribed width and inserting the insulator. CONSTITUTION:An insulating sheet 6 of width L1 wound in a hoop shape is fed in a direction of an arrow 7 while rewinding, and one side is bent by a cough bending unit 11 in size (l) while rewinding the connecting sheet 10 of width 3 wound in the hoop shape disposed at both sides of the sheet 6, thereby forming a cough 4. Then, a roller 14 is rotated by a motor 15, fed in a direction of an arrow 7, the size between the coughs is adjusted to the prescribed width L3 by a positioning unit 16, the sheet 6 and the coughs 4 are contacted under pressured by a pressure contacting unit 17, and cut at the position designated by two-dotted chain line 8 in the developed width W of the slot 3 by a cutter 8. Then, the coughs 4 are disposed at the outside, bent in U shape to form a slot 3 of the core 2. |
