In a series silo system designed as a transport unit for the dynamic storage of the defined allocated amounts of a plurality of different bulk material components for a mixture of bulk material, the individual bulk material components being poured, on both sides of the series silo system, into boxes separated from one another by box walls, from which boxes the bulk material components are conveyed to silo pockets arranged in a series behind one another at a distance from the ground, the boxes and silos arranged together in pairs form a discrete storage space in each case. A scraping mechanism is provided in the region of the series silo system, with which the bulk material components are conveyed out of the region of the boxes into the region of the silo pockets. This design means that the series silo system does not have to be fed with a bucket wheel loader, as has hitherto normally been the case. Scraper conveying is moreover significantly quieter and more economical. <IMAGE>
