PURPOSE:To facilitate adjusting of fixed length feeding of spindle while to prevent idling, by driving a screw shaft horizontal quick feed fluid pressure cylinder for driving a cam plate and a fixed length feeding drive independently. CONSTITUTION:In order to lift a spindle 11 by predetermined length, the piston rod 25 is lifted by the fluid pressure cylinder 23 while simultaneously the piston rod 39 is moved by predetermined amount to the right by a quick-feed fluid cylinder 37. Consequently, a guide plate 33 will also slide in same direction against the guide rod 35 then contact against a pre-positioned stopper bolt 43 and stop. A screw shaft 15, slider 15 and cam plate 17 will also move in same direction to rotate a proportion arm 5 upward around the pivot shaft 3 thus to lift the spindle 11. With such arrangement, adjusting of fixed length feeding can be facilitated efficiently. |
