The invention refers to a segmented conveyor with a conveyor belt comprised of two parallel running endless chains (2) on a gear-wheel and the bridging sections (3), which are supported by the links of both chains opposite each other and are similar to these pivoting in relation to each other in order to allow bending of the conveyor belt, where this runs over the gear-wheel or other breaking point. Characterising this invention is that the slits between the sections (3) are connected while the tape shaped connectors (4), which on the sliding edges are engaged into pockets arranged at the edges of the sections, so that tightening of the slits is always maintained and un- wanted pull stress on the bendable connector element, is avoided.<IMAGE> |
