<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a method of controlling a DC shunt field motor for a vehicle which does not cause a hunting of an armature current even if becoming a constant voltage operation range by pulling a power drive middle notch lever to accelerate the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:When a power drive notch command PN becomes ''yes'', a switch 12 is shifted by a position ''1'', a current limit value IC0 in response to a variable load VL is selected. On the other hand, a comparator 17 compares the conduction rate (alpha) of an armature chopper with an armature conduction rate limiter alphaL determined by the notch, an amplifier 15 increases by A at every sampling time in case of alpha=alphaL. In case of alpha<alphaL, the output IC1 which decreases by B at every sampling time is outputted. A subtractor 14 outputs an output IC2 subtracted by the output IC1 from the value IC0 to the primary delay circuit 13, and a current command value IC is outputted from the primary delay circuit 13.</p> |
