PURPOSE:To prevent a magnetic head from shaking in the card driving direction by using a fixed member containing support parts at the front and back sides of the card driving direction and a fixed elastic matter which presses the fixed member and having a spot contact between the elastic matter and each support part of the fixed member. CONSTITUTION:A fixed member 7 fixing a magnetic head 6 contains support parts at both ends. These support parts have pins 7b which are fitted to a small hole 5a and a slit 5b and projections 7a having ball-shaped tips which have contacts with the fit points of pins 7b. A magnetic head 6 can have rotation and up-down movements since these projections 7a are pressed by a plate spring 5. Thus the head 6 can keep a close contact with a magnetic card 8 which is inserted. In addition, the head 6 is not fixed directly to an elastic matter but fixed to the member 7 and pressed by the spring 5 which is separated from the member 7 and can have up-down movements. This prevents the rotation of the head 6 in the card driving direction and ensures satisfactory record and reproduction. |
