Door-opening device for a washing machine

The invention relates to devices for opening the doors of washing machines. It refers to a device, in which a pushbutton 3 having an inclined end 4 displaces a traveller 7 which raises a tie 10 acting on a bent lever 13 which moves away a tongue 22 for closing the door which has a hook. This tongue is retained by a locking device 27 when the machine is in operation and a little after it has finished operating. A spring 18 returns the various elements into their initial position. The invention is used on laundry-washing machines. <IMAGE>
