Wire section of a paper machine with backwater-recycling system

The invention relates to a wire section of a paper machine with a revolving endless wire belt and at least two headboxes arranged in series on the wire belt and with at least two separate backwater-recycling systems and stockwater pumps. Using such a wire section, a two-ply fibre web can be produced, one fibre web ply being first formed on the wire belt, and the second one on top thereof. To increase the retention of fine materials and fillers, it is provided that the stockwater pump of one of the headboxes is connected on the suction side to the backwater-recycling system of another one of the headboxes, and vice versa.
