The device is for hanging a watch or pair of spectacles out of the reach of a young child, or for amplifying the watch alarm or to make the watch face easier to read. A piece of wire may be bent and screwed to a wall or a piece of sheet material cut and shaped to form a stand. - Alternatively an injection moulded or cast bracket may be fixed to a wall or other surface over which the watch bracelet can hang, or one arm of the glasses frame may be hooked. The bracket may be incorporated with a photograph frame and the material may be coloured to suit the decor.
