PURPOSE:To cut a plate, which is slit in a state of being halved by a slitter, sideways as well as to cut this plate by a separate roll into several short plates at the same time. CONSTITUTION:A plate A delivered out of an leveller 2. The slitter 3 does not slit the plate to the full, that is makes it with only an incision or coming into unseparatedness by slitting B. At this time, the plate A is in uneven form in its section. Next, the plate is shorn along a line E by a rotary shear 3 and fed to a separate roll 5 via a conveyor 7. The said uneven part is forcibly pressed at the roll 5 and reverse shearing takes place, thus the plate is cut into short platelike ones from each cutting line C. |
