The present invention relates to a device for detecting the tension of the free part of the various yarns which, in a strander/cabler, leave the rotating head in order to contribute to the formation of a cord, these yarns being delivered by a series of unwinding machines equipped with pull-adjusting means. According to the invention, this device comprises an element 23 sensitive to the position in space of an intermediate portion of the free yarn part 25 for a preset angular position of the rotating head 20, means 24 capable of exciting said sensitive element 23, when each yarn is delivered, as a result of the rotation of the rotating head 20 into a position corresponding to the said sensitive element, and control means which react to the position signal detected by the sensitive element. <IMAGE> |
