The invention relates to a locking system for cable-branch cupboards, with two locking cylinders for a common lock bolt in a lock case arranged on the rear side of the cupboard door, and with a closing flap arranged on the front side of the cupboard door for the two cylinders and intended for the two lock cylinders, and with a door handle, mounted rotatably on the front side of the cupboard door, for a turnbuckle mounted rotatably on the rear side of the cupboard door and having a locking linkage connected in an articulated manner, the turnbuckle, when in the locking position, being locked by the extended lock bolt. The lock case is mounted rotatably in the cupboard door. On the one hand the locking linkage is articulated on, and on the other hand the turnbuckle is fastened to the lock case. The closing flap for the lock case at the same time forms the door handle. The lock bolt, when extended in the locking position, locks the lock case together with the turnbuckle and the door handle against rotational movement. A double locking system simplified in terms of construction is thereby brought about.
