PURPOSE:To make a device small-sized and light by providing an auxiliary cleaning blade for removing a residual toner existing in other part than the effective picture width of a recording drum, and also constituting so that the width of a magnetic crush is a little larger than the effective picture width. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary cleaning blade 10 is provided on both side parts of the surface of the drum 1 at the upstream side of the magnetic brush 3, and it is provided fixedly together with its holder 11 on a copying machine body or a cleaning device body so that its tip part contacts by pressing to the surface of the drum 1. One side end of this auxiliary cleaning blade 10 is positioned at the end part of the drum 1, and the other side end has the width of such an extent as reaches the end part of an effective picture width (a) of the drum 1, and it is installed so that the inside is inclined by theta1 in the advancing direction of the drum against the drum shaft. Also, the width c' of the magnetic brush 3 made by a magnet roll 2 is formed to the width which is the same as the effective picture width (a), or a little wider than it. |
