PURPOSE:To obtain cultured fish having excellent taste and flavor and high meat quality, by feeding the fish with a culture feed mixed with extracted garlic and wheat embryo. CONSTITUTION:The objective cultured fish can be obtained by feeding a fresh- water fish such as carp, sweetfish, eel, etc. or marine fish such as yellow-tail, etc. with artificial or raw feed mixed with a feed composed of garlic extract and wheat embryo. The garlic extract is preferably the one obtained by inactivating the enzyme of raw garlic by the heat treatment, etc. such as immersion in hot water or steaming with steam, etc., crushing the treated garlic, extracting the soluble component with water, and concentrating under reduced pressure. |
